So hectic as life is in today's world, Crockpot has quickly become an essential tool in kitchens today. Nothing could be simpler: put the ingredients in the Crockpot, plug it in, turn it on and get back to a fully cooked meal. So, you are free to work, play or spend the day in any way you like, knowing that a delicious meal is waiting for you when you return.
There's nothing like the aroma of food cooking when you get home at the end of a long day, there is no shortage of recipes for chicken to crockpot. Doing a little advance planning and following the crockpot chicken recipes, your life can be much more easy and convenient, and you can be a hero to his family.
Another advantage of crockpot cooking is that crockpot does not heat up the kitchen. This is such a plus in the summer, but don't limit your crockpot cooking just for the hot summer months. Preparing crockpot recipes is a year-round adventure, and you really like the smell of food cooking slowly during the day, especially in winter.
Here is one of my favorite crockpot chicken recipes. Served with salad and Italian bread, is a crowd-pleaser! Tip: If the pasta does not fit in the crockpot, you can break them. Have fun!
Little Italy chicken and spinach
2 (11 oz.) cans cream of chicken soup
1 package (10 ounces) frozen spinach, thawed, drained
1 pkg. (9 oz.) chicken, cooked, diced
1 cream (8 oz)
1 C milk
1/2 C Parmesan cheese
1 small onion, chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 tsp. Pepper
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
9 lasagna noodles, cooked
1 C mozzarella, grated
Place the spinach, chicken, soup and sour cream in a large bowl, then stir in the ingredients.
Pour the milk and continue stirring until the ingredients are well mixed.
Now, add the onions and stir well.
Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper and nutmeg, stirring until well combined.
Place 3 lasagna noodles on bottom of crock pot.
Pour 1/3 of the spinach mixture over the noodles.
Add 1/3 of the mozzarella cheese.
Continue with 2 more layers identical topping with the mozzarella cheese.
Cover and cook on high 1:0.
Reduce the heat and continue cooking the 5:0.
