Chicken Quesadilla recipe

Recipe for barbecue chicken Quesadilla
I am constantly looking for ways to expand my chicken quesadilla recipe, because they are simple to make, delicious to eat and fun to serve. Realizing how the barbecue chicken pizza took off, I thought ' why not try it in the style of a quesadilla? ' So, I did. The ease of this recipe is almost like ' sinner ' like the flavor. I will also reveal some variations and pointers, so that you also may have inspired to experiment in the kitchen.

Roasted chicken Quesadilla recipe
3 boneless chicken breasts
8 flour tortillas
1 teaspoon garlic, minced in time
Salt and pepper, to taste
.5 Cup sliced, red onion, or sweet Vidalia
1 t Oil
1 cup ketchup
.75 Cup brown sugar
5 T Vinegar
1 T Worcestershire sauce
1 cup mozzarella, grated
Cut the chicken in half or quarters for cooks sooner, without overcooking. Saute the chicken, garlic, onion, salt and pepper in the heated oil, until the chicken is tender. At the same time, mix the barbecue sauce by mixing ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar and Worcestershire sauce. After the chicken, Shred it with a fork, add the BBQ sauce and Cook 10 additional minutes to meld the flavors. Then place a tortilla in the Pan Saute and then roast chicken mixture and cheese layer. Top that with an extra tortilla and cook over medium heat until golden brown on both sides. I often serve with coleslaw or chips.

VARIATIONS
Try changing out the vinegar, the sauce with beer. It offers a totally unique taste, keeping it as a BBQ sauce.

Add a dash of hot sauce, or some chopped peppers to the sauce for some heat.

I also replace the mozzarella for a smoky provolone, adding a richer flavor and smoked.

Pointers
Make the meat and the sauce mixture 12:0 am in advance for a deeper and richer flavor, because the flavors are given the opportunity to merge.

You can use your favorite prepared barbecue sauce instead, make the sauce the recipe, if you would like to save time.

I added mushrooms to a twist or chili while sauteing the beef.
Regardless of how you decide to make them, they are really nice, tasty and distinctive to serve. Just make sure you tell people ahead of time that they are not taking a bite of a chicken quesadilla recipe. Otherwise, they can be a little stunned at first. Yes, this happened to me. However, they loved after they found out it was supposed to taste different.
